Jamie Underwood

As the co-head of Latham’s International Trade Commission Practice, Jamie Underwood helps companies with their global IP litigation strategies. She also co-chairs the Legislative Committee for the ITC Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to her expertise in section 337-related arbitration proceedings, which focus on allegations of patent, copyright, and trademark infringement by imported goods, Ms. Underwood handles IP, antitrust, and complex commercial matters in federal trial and appellate courts. She is also a Latham AI Task Force member and has handled pro bono cases before the United States Supreme Court. Before joining Latham, Ms. Underwood clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the D.C. Superior Court. She has also worked at the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office and with the War Crimes Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. She also worked as an NGO delegate at various World Trade Organization Ministerial Conferences. An alum of Washington College of Law, Ms. Underwood was a Dean’s Fellow who completed researched for a book on Central and Eastern European constitutional courts.
