Our Publication

The Intellectual Property Brief (the “IP Brief”) is the publication arm of the Washington College of Law’s nationally ranked #8 Intellectual Property Law Program. Since 2010, the IP Brief has produced over 95 quality publications and has an impressive outreach of over 100,000 downloads, including 9,000 downloads in the past year alone. Each year, the IP Brief attracts leading scholars and practitioners to submit articles and participate in discussions on pressing IP issues through its annual symposia.

Preferred Submissions for Fall 2024:

The IP Brief is particularly interested in articles focusing on Patent, Copyright, and Trademark issues for its Fall 2024 edition. However, submissions on any intellectual property-related legal topics are always welcome.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, the IP Brief will publish twice: once in the Fall and once in the Spring. We invite submissions from professors, judges, practitioners, and students who wish to contribute to our esteemed publication.
