Sanya Samtani

Dr. Sanya Samtani is a Senior Researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is widely published, focusing most of her work on the intersections of IP Law, International Law, and Human Rights Law. In November 2023, AUWCL's Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property (PIJUP) published her Right to Research working paper, "Developing a Human Right to Research in International Law."
