Kendra Ervin

Kendra Ervin is the Deputy Chief for Intellectual Property in the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) of the U.S. Department of Justice. Ms. Ervin leads a group of 17 attorneys dedicated to criminal IP issues. In her almost fourteen years with CCIPS, Ms. Ervin has prosecuted large-scale, multi-jurisdictional IP crimes, participated in domestic and international IP enforcement training and outreach, and helped to develop and draft legislative and policy initiatives addressing all facets of IP crime. Before joining CCIPS, Ms. Ervin specialized in patent litigation at Williams & Connolly's Washington, D.C. location. Ms. Ervin also served as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and her B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science and Economics from Emory University.
